    —- Ultimate re-purposing! —-

6 hours of intense work, and the trailer now has a cover made from old The University of Auckland vinyl billboards. “University of Auckland Courses & Careers Day 2018” may have past, but this giant piece of heavy duty fabric is living on and protecting the KillaJoule from the weather on the way to Big Boys Toys! Just some final touches left for tomorrow such as hold downs and grommets, and the cover will be ready for highway speed.

Getting some really good use of that $250 industrial sewing machine from TradeMe (NZ’s equivalent to eBay or Craigslist).

Many of you really liked the Eva action figure, and so I have posted the design and written up all the instructions how to make the outfit.

If you have a doll lover at home, or just want your own racing action figure, you can now 3D print the helmet and sew the racing suit in 22 (!) simple steps. All needed files, patterns and instructions are found on my new website ScienceEnvy.com. It will fit Barbie and similar tall fashion dolls.

    —- A love affair with a tool chest! —-
Move-in continues! We have really missed our _giant_ tool chest, which suitably enough was sponsored by the motorcycle parts supplier PartsGiant.com a few years ago.

Unloading a toolbox that literally weighs half a ton safely takes some seriously good teamwork and cleverness. I definitely have the perfect team mate in my lovely husband Bill Dube! 💚💚💚💚
